STANS H-3 TUNNEL (AUSTRIA)

The new Munich-Verona high speed railway line is a section of the Berlin-Palermo rail link of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T).

The Brenner Base tunnel, with its twin 55km long tubes, is second in size only to the 57 km Gotthard Base Tunnel. Beyond Innsbruck, the new railway line runs parallel to the river Inn, as does the A12 motorway as well as the railway to Munich.
