Metro Manila Skyway: the logistic management of the works in one of the most congested megacities in the world

One of the greatest complexity involved by the works of the Metro Manila Skyway, regards the logistic management of the works in one of the most congested megacities in the world.  

A high voltage line run along a large section of the layout and it could have blocked the execution of the piles until its removal. To avoid possible delays before the final relocation of said line, Trevi Foundations Philippines studied the required changes and customised two rigs in order to have a “Low Headroom” configuration. In this way, the rig could operate safely under the existing power lines independently of the repositioning of the same, therefore ensuring continuity of production and execution times.
