Veidekke and the cooperation with Trevi Spa, an extremely valuable partner

Since building tunnels in loose soil is a relatively unknown construction method in Norway, the development of the construction plan for the #DrammenKobbervikdalen project, was made by #Veidekke in cooperation with international experts, among which #TreviSpa that, thanks to its long experience, is an extremely valuable partner. Trevi carries out the tunnel soil consolidation by means of #jetGrouting columns.

With regard to the cut & cover part, the area was very narrow and especially challenging because of the presence of boulders in the ground.

A solution involving secant piles was then chosen, in close cooperation with Trevi.
