Lonato del Garda Tunnel: the involvement of Trevi Spa

As part of the construction of the #LonatoTunnel, the most complex and articulated railway work on the HS/HC Brescia Est-Verona railway line, #TreviSpa was involved in order to pre-consolidate the soils concerned by the excavation of the future tunnel. The initial project envisaged that the sections to be consolidated would be approached by three different types of drilling, all starting from ground level.

However, the poor capacity of the chosen mixtures to penetrate the ground and the complex drilling geometry led to a preliminary investigation that entailed the execution of a real Test Field.
