The Mosul Dam: some of the Trevi dams rehabilitation projects

For many years, TREVI has been committed to enhancing a crucial asset for mankind, that is water.

TREVI has been actively involved in the construction of new dams or in solving seepage problems to existing ones, thus tackling major geological and geotechnical engineering issues  requiring special attention with respect to water-tightness of the dam body, walls and bottom.

To this end, special technologies and systems have been designed, tested and used to set up “impermeable” screens, as well as soil treatment in order to dramatically reduce natural permeability.

1953, was the year of the Trevi first dam intervention, the Pidima Buttress in Greece: since that, theTrevi Group companies participated directly to more than 170 dam projects all over the world, covering all the underground specialized areas, from the initial phases of the preliminary investigations to the construction and the treatment of the foundations and the remediation works in case of unsafe structures.

• Bolivar Dam – Ohio (Usa), 2014-2016
