The US Army Corps of Engineers awarded to TREVIICOS multiple Herbert Hoover Dike Rehabilitation Task Orders for the construction of one of the main components of this project, a cutoff wall within the levee to eliminate the existing seepage through the levee foundation and limestone layers below. The work extended from 2008 to 2013.
Acting as the Main Contractor, TREVIICOS, developed a bespoke solution thanks to its expertise and technology. For the first time, the cutoff wall was constructed by the self-hardening slurry by hydromill cutter, excavating through the embankment fill, soils and limestone rock to depths exceeding 85 ft.
