Driven Piles

Driven piles are cast in situ without soil removal. In this sector, Trevi's most prestigious product is VIBROTREVI (patented), which is performed by driving a casing closed at its bottom by a disposable or retrievable plate. Driving is carried out by means of a diesel or hydraulic hammer.

Once driving is completed, the steel cage is installed and concrete is poured into the casing. The casing is then extracted by means of a casing oscillator. Said technique and the purposely designed equipment allow reaching max depths of 25 – 27 m with diameters ranging from 335 to 610 mm.
