THE COMMANDER OF THE US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS VISITS MOSUL DAM IN IRAQ

General Todd T. Semonite, Chief of Engineers and Commanding General of the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), on April 3th and 4th, visited the Mosul Dam escorted by the 151° "Sassari" infantry regiment.

During the visit the senior officer had the opportunity to meet the Iraqi top management of the Ministry of Water Resources, the Italian top management of Trevi and the military and civil staff of USACE involved in the Mosul Dam Project. The high officer also wanted to meet the men and women of the Italian Task Force Army Praesidium committed to ensuring the safety of the dam.
