Trevi Philippines

TREVI was first established in the Philippines in the 1980s when the Bored Piling technology was introduced and applied to the structural foundations of the LRT Line-1 from Baclaran to Monumento in Metro Manila. During that decade, TREVI also introduced other deep foundations applications in various prestigious projects located in the Visayas and Mindanao, among which are: the Third Ports of Cebu in the Visayas region and; the Iligan National Steel Plant in Lanao del Norte in Mindanao. The Asian economic turmoil in the later part of the decade had compelled TREVI to temporarily fold down its offices in this part of the continent.

When TREVI re-established its operations in the country in 1996, Trevi Foundations Philippines, Inc. (TFPI) was born, and since then to date, TFPI has been operating in specialty works of various applications in geotechnical and foundations engineering technologies.  Through these three decades of presence in the country, several bored piles, anchors, micropiles, diaphragm walls, soil nails, sanitary landfill gas wells, and ground and rock consolidation, soil improvement, and soil mixing substructures have been constructed and installed by TREVI for various important private and public facilities: light and mass railway transportation lines, highway bridges, subways, tollways, viaducts and elevated expressways, airport terminals and control towers, marine ports and offshore facilities, power and telecommunication transmission lines, industrial manufacturing and power-generation plants, dams, tunnels and underground water and energy-generation facilities, commercial and shopping complexes, sports and entertainment arenas, multi-storey residential and commercial building establishments, among many others.

Trevi Philippines belongs to Trevi Group, in the field of underground engineering from A to Z (special foundations, soil consolidation, recovery of polluted sites), in the design and marketing of specialized technologies in the sector.

Internationalization, integration and the continuous exchange between its two divisions are among the reasons for the success of the Trevi Group: Trevi, which carries out special foundations and soil consolidation works for large infrastructure projects (subways, dams, ports and docks, bridges, railway and highway lines, industrial and civil buildings) and secures polluted sites and Soilmec, which designs, manufactures and markets machinery, systems and services for underground engineering.

The parent company TREVI – Finanziaria Industriale Spa has been listed on the Milan stock exchange since July 1999.
